März 2008 (Hollii) (1 Kommentar – Kommentar schreiben) Da ich ja schon 2 erfolglose Versuche hinter mir hatte, WordPress von 2.0.11 auf die aktuelle Version (zur zeit 2.3.3) zu aktualisieren, dachte ich mir, ist es mal wieder soweit. Und siehe da. Wenn man konzentriert vorgeht, klappt es auf Anhieb. Bisher funktioniert jedenfalls alles. Oder gibts irgendwo ein Problem? Bitte mal Trackback, Ping, Kommentare mit Links etc testen. I’m finally upgrading to Wordpress 2.3.3! I previously wrote about my hesitation due to additional tables, but turns out the tables aren’t additional, they are different. I’ve only done one of my blogs so far, but this one will follow suit soon. In addition to updating Wordpress, I also have to update some plugins. I just updated Google Sitemaps plugin from Arne, but I had to make one fix on line 2672 in the GetBackLink function: return stristr(’?',$_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'],TRUE). “?page=” . $p

WordPress 2.3.3 is an urgent security release. If you have registration enabled a flaw was found in the XML-RPC implementation such that a specially crafted request would allow a user to edit posts of other users on that blog.
